Sharmeen says that think about all of the ways that your life has been protected and enriched because of the faithful service of men and women in the army. Can you imagine living in a country where you could not attend school, could not get a job if you wanted one, or where you did not have the freedom to believe anything you wanted to? I cannot imagine a life without the freedoms and privileges that I have come to count on.
Serving in the army is a great way to be a part of a cause that is larger than yourself. In the army your life is not just about you, but it is about helping, serving, and protecting other people. There is no greater feeling than the one that comes from knowing that your life is counting for something huge, and serving in the army allows you this great feeling.
